About us
Stefano, Aviosail’s owner, is a yachtsman of great experience with a deep love for the sea. After successfully competing for several years, in 2005 he went on to become a technician for a charter company based on Elba. In 2007 he crossed the Atlantic Ocean aboard “Ipero”, a Baltic 83 yacht owned by his friend Flavio Scala, a former Agneta helmsman. Since 2009, he’s been the proprietor’s of Aviosail.
Alice, a Natural Science graduate, is always at Stefano’s side on board Aviosail boats both as a hostess and as an environmental hiking guide officially recognised by the Tuscany Region and the Tuscan Archipelago National Park. In addition to preparing excellent lunches, she will be able to introduce you to much more about Elba, the Tuscan Archipelago and the natural wonders of such places.

Diverse possibilità di imbarco , a Portoferraio, a San Vincenzo o Piombino (Salivoli). La partenza è solitamente la sera verso le 18, con rotta verso la destinazione stabilita (Elba, Capraia, Corsica, Giglio), navigazione a vela o a motore in assenza di vento, e ancoraggio nella rada o porto scelti. La mattina successiva escursione sui sentieri più belli con panorami mozzafiato, di diversa durata, a seconda del livello di difficoltà scelti in anticipo, con partenza ed arrivo in posti diversi, con la barca che vi attende al vostro arrivo. A richiesta c’è la possibilità di avere una esperta Guida Parco dell’Arcipelago Toscano, che vi accompagnerà e vi farà scoprire le bellezze naturali di questi luoghi.
A vostra disposizione ci saranno skypper ed hostess, che vi prepareranno colazioni, pranzi , cene, ed aperitivi. Menù vari ma con sughi rigorosamente di pesce fresco preparati a bordo, e se possibile appena pescato. La tariffa è full inclusive, e comprende qualsiasi cosa escluso eventuali soste nei porti diversi da Portoferraio.

Il pacchetto Vela e Kayak è dedicato a chi ama lo sport e il mare. Si parte da Portoferraio verso Capraria, con arrivo al Santuario dei Cetacei. Dopo qualche ora inizia l’esplorazione in kajak, per toccare, nei giorni successivi, la cala rossa, caratteristica punta meridionale dell’isola.

He is the owner of Aviosail and a very experienced sailor. He was born on the Island of Elba on 6/11/1960 and since he was a boy he proved to be very skilled in many sports, but sailing and the sea are his true passion. He began his journey on the island by participating in several winter championships. During this period he has the good fortune to meet the Shipowner Vincenzo Onorato, with whom he will train in the years to come. First, with the boat “Comte de Fiandre”, he won the Cointreau trophy at the Tigullio Winter Championships in 1989-1990, then he obtained other victories at the opening weeks of the Alassio regatta season. He becomes co-owner with the same Onorato of the boat “Ottone degli Ulivi” with which he took an excellent fifth place in the world class in 1990. He continues to obtain other important victories first aboard the Swan 46 “” Charlotte aybea “then with” Flamenco aybea “, participating in the winter championships of Punta Ala and the weeks of the mouths in Costa Smeralda. In 1996 he won the European championship Sardinia Cup with the role of trimmer on the Zzenzero boat. He then decides to switch to the vintage boats circuit, competing for 9 consecutive years aboard the “Agneta” boat owned by Avv. Giovanni Agnelli, before moving on to the “Samurai” boat of the Pavesi brothers. He trains with Giovanni Soldini in the waters of Elba aboard the trimaran “Telecom” and participates in the Match Race in France aboard the Jeanneau. He was born on the Island of Elba on 12/14/1985 and has always had a great passion for the sea and for nature. At the age of 15, he had his first experience sailing around the Tuscan Archipelago and Corsica. He moved to Florence where he graduated in 2010 in “Natural Sciences” and in 2013 he also obtained the specialist degree in “Conservation and management of nature” with full marks. Participate in various scientific projects of cetacean sighting on a sailing boat in the Tuscan Archipelago. The great love for her island and for the sea brought her back to Portoferraio, where, since 2013, she has always been at Stefano’s side aboard the Aviosail boats as hostess and as an environmental excursion guide officially recognized by the Tuscany Region and the Tuscan Archipelago National Park. . Our sailing and Kayak package is designated for sports and sea lovers. Departure is from Portoferraio towards Capraia, sailing through the Cetacean Sanctuary.
